The Heart and Drive Behind EmVee Marketing & Design
The idea for EmVee Marketing & Design sparked long before it became a brand. My journey started back in school, where I found myself designing ads, billboards, cards, and logos — all self-taught and fueled by a passion for creativity.
Over the years, that passion has only grown. As a self-taught freelance designer, I’ve built a diverse and ever-expanding portfolio, driven by curiosity, dedication, and the joy of turning ideas into visuals that work.
My love for design is rooted in a joyful childhood filled with love, encouragement, and structure. I was fortunate to have parents who believed in me, instilling values like empathy, responsibility, and resilience - all of which shape how I work with clients today.
I’m happily married to a wonderful husband. Though we don’t have children (not by choice), I embrace life fully, finding meaning in both my professional and personal journey.
In addition to running EmVee, I work a 9-to-5 job and study Pastoral Narrative Counselling through Caritas (University of Pretoria). When I eventually retire, my focus will shift fully to Grace Space Counselling and EmVee Marketing & Design — two heartfelt extensions of who I am and what I value.

I’m a dedicated, imaginative, and down-to-earth creative with a passion for continuous learning and exploring new skills. My love for art, design, and a balanced lifestyle took root in childhood — and has only grown stronger with time.
I studied Art and Graphic Design in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), continuing my education in Graphic Design in Bloemfontein. These experiences gave me both the technical foundation and the artistic insight I use in my work today.

Beyond Design - Outside of work, I wear many hats — from full-time employee to healthy living influencer, and interior styling enthusiast. I strive to live mindfully and intentionally, always making time for what fuels me creatively.
